I’m writing this post from the surgical waiting room. I have two family members in ICU in two different hospitals today. My kids start back to school this week–three kids, three different schools. 6 Prayers When You Can’t See the Road Ahead

I learned how to drive on the backroads of a small mountain town. Some of the roads were sophisticated with painted lines. Others were the simple tar-and-gravel variety with loose rocks and vague boundaries. The curves were sharp and the shoulders narrow.
